Aurora beach house - my first commercial build

This is my fourth house that I built for myself and the first one that I decided to put on sale. I'm very nervious because selling something in SL requires support responsibility but Im also very excited because many people encouraged me to try it out with Aurora. So here it is - my prefab beach house with two fireplaces, scripted doors and a small pond. I wanted to script the windows too but it didn't look good with solid glass so I thought that instead of making fake privacy scripts (common people always peek in with their cameras anyway) I decided to keep the concept of an open space - kind of nude house, hehe. We can always use drapes or window shades if we want to create a different atmosphere for the house. ^-^
It is on sale with onrez here
http://shop.onrez.com/item/536155
and slexchange

It's 352 prims and only 800LL. ^-^
And here is my land where you can see the sample of the house :

Glam SL magazine launch party

This fashion show was hard to get in not only for guests but also for models. I had to go through three auditions to become a Glam model for the magazine opening fashion show. It was also my first paid runway job which I haven't been paid for yet but let's see till the end of this week. ^-^ I was showing 5 designers : Ghost, LeeZu Baxter, Muism, Nicky Ree and a new Minnu's line called cochete.

All the outfits came with Maitreya shoes and Minnu skins and hair. That was the most I ever got from a single fashion show and I really enjoyed it too. I got to walk together with Miko Omegamu of ICING, Caliah Lyon of Muse jewelry, my fellow IDA models and other famous SL models. It was also my first time to receive compliments from the crowd. Aparently everyone absolutely loved my Ghost and Cochete looks! Yay! Im so happy Minny chose me for her most glamorous Cochete outfit. It's gonna be on sale soon together with new skin line. ^-^
Here is a short promotional video of the event made by Minnu :

Second style magazine

Yay! My debute in current issue of Second style magazine!! I was modeling a beautiful Muse dress for Last call tribute article.

Le Cadre fashion expose

This show was the toughest I ever had to experience in my SL modeling career. The routine was aufully easy and with the number of outfits provided for each model we could be done with rehearsal in just under one hour.. Instead it took us more than 3 with each lasting for over 2 hours..I had to wake up at 4am in the morning to participate in a first rehearsal .. Sensual couldn't accept work or business meeting as an excuse to come later or leave early, at least not from me...I felt quite miserable rehearsing the runway routine during my working hours..I never mind if the meeting is just one hour, but when it runs for nearly 3 hours it kinda hurts..Especially because whenever I tried to reason with Sensual, she took my suggestions as a critic..Of course organizing a show is a great deal of work and I understand the frustration when things don't go well but laying a huge load of work on models especially when we don't get paid is not very professional .. and in case of fashion expose Sensual in my opinion didn't do well with organizing... I felt quite uncomfortable like it all stopped making any sense to me..
For me the only good thing about Fashion expose was having my friends cheer for me and receiving two beautiful outfits from House of Nyla and ICING.
Of course the show was great and had many good reviews which is a good reward for all those long hours of torture..And it also brought me and the others a good experience based on which we can get wiser when choosing a show...^-^

Trendy & Co. bags and accessories by Kendall Freenote

Yesterday I was asked to review a new bag collection created by a designer Kendall Freenote and I was so happy to do that not only because it is the first time somebody asked me to review something but also because the bags were super cute and the store immediately went into my shopping LM list. ^-^
The variety of bags is pretty amazing. Not only the forms are very unique and carefully crafted with a lot of cute details like fashion magazine, iphone and jeweled accessories, the range is so wide you can find a bag for almost any occasion! And the colors are great too! They are adult hot couture colors that goes well with your hot couture clothes whether its Armidi or Last Call.
Each bag goes with its own animation but I was so excited playing with them, I even purchased Reel movement's bag AO so I could carry my new bags gracefully everywhere!
I think bags as accessories are seriously underestimated in SL.
Yes, sometimes they may stick out of your stomach or your hands may sink into them especially on a runway when you have to strike a pose that is not kind to the bags but they really accent the outfit, complete it in a way that no amount of jewelry can do! I personally love bags and very often use them as my key ingredient to the outfits I submit to competitions!
These four bags are my favorites. Each is done in a different style and each completes my outfit perfectly!
From left to right: T&C Renzo bag in charcoal, T&C Dubois bag in blue, T&C Uber Trendy bag and T&C Dange bag in pink.

You can find these bags and many others including some of the cutest accessories at Trendy & Co. boutique with is located in Juicy shopping mall :

Last call tribute photo collection

Fann and me have decided to make a photograph for Metro Last call tribute collection to pay our respect and give our condolences to one of the greatest designers in SL. These times when we loose somebody dear to our hearts will always come, there is no way we can avoid that so it is important to stay together and count on each other giving the best we can to support and comfort, to remind of hope and strength, to guide through the night and show a new day..

My new look!

Since my SL birth in april I have been through a lot of transformations, searching for a perfect look that I can be satisfied with and brand. During miss SL Tropics competition I have finally created a model shape that allowed me to become competition finalist. Then I found a perfect set of skins to go along with my shape and finally decided on my hair color. Even though I prefer being dark in SL (people tend to want things they dont have) I was adviced to go blond by my modeling agency manager so yes I am blond in RL and SL now. Occasionally I will change it of course for the shows, stills and general fashion reviews but officially Dendre Benelli is a blond girl now! ^-^
